PETALING JAYA: Traffic volume on the North-South Expressway saw a significant drop during this year’s Chinese New Year holidays compared to last year’s pre-Covid-19 times, says Plus Malaysia Berhad.
“Plus records a daily average of 760,000 vehicles as compared to the two million on peak days during last year’s Chinese New Year holidays.
“The low volume of traffic at all our highway network, when compared with the normal Chinese New Year festive period, arises from the banning of interstate and inter-district travel during the movement control order, ” said Plus Malaysia Berhad chief operating officer Zakaria Ahmad Zabidi. ....
