Doha: No visitors allowed in any of the Covid-19 hospitals. In non covid-19 hospitals visitors are allowed between 3pm and 8pm, a HMC official said.
“Al Wakra hospital has joined now a group 7 Covid-19 hospitals in Qatar. This is due to the new strain and we have more severe cases. And therefore we have a new policy of no visitors in any of the Covid-19 hospitals,” Dr Naser Ali Al Ansari, Consultant Microbiologist and chair of infection control in Al Wakra said in short video posted online.
“However, visitors will be allowed in non-covid hospitals for 15 minutes and maximum of 3 visitors per day. Children below 15 years are not allowed. To enter the hospital visitor’s Ehteraz status should be green, temperature will be checked and they have to be wearing masks, Dr Naser Ali Al Ansari, Consultant Microbiologist and chair of infection control in Al Wakra,” he added. ....
