Jan. 11, 2021.Ned Gerard / Hearst Connecticut Media SHELTON The Board of Aldermen have appointed four people to the city’s five-member EMS Commission, drawing opposition from the panel’s leader who is also an alderman. The aldermen, at its meeting Thursday, voted 5-2, with Noreen McGorty and David Gidwani opposed, to appoint Republicans Eric Graf, Justin Sabatino and Christopher Motasky and Democrat Karen Tomko-McGovern to the EMS Commission. The four join McGorty, the commission’s chairwoman. Out of the commission are Thomas DeMarco, Beth Tiberio, Nancy Minotti and Karen Minopoli. ....
