Information Technology and Municpal Administration and Urban Development Minister K T Rama Rao on Friday inaugurated the Mini Hub a health diagnostics initiative of the Telangana government in Borabanda.
Patients who arrive at primary health centres will be referred to the Mini Hub for conducting diagnostics, depending on requirement. As many as eight such mini hubs for diagnostics were launched on Friday. ....

Principal Secretary, Municipal Administration & Urban Development, Arvind Kumar has issued instructions for completion of a total of 28 foot-over-bridges (FOBs) at various locations on top priority.
These are part of 36 FOBs which are in various stages of completion under the GHMC’s purview.
Of the structures accorded top priority by the Principal Secretary, nine are in Serilingampally, five each in L.B. Nagar and Secunderabad zones, four in Khairatabad, three in Charminar, and two in Kukatpally zone. ....

Now a COVID testing centre, the facility used to manufacture vaccines until a few years ago
It is an abandoned building in Narayanguda with flaking plaster, broken steps, scattered office furniture lying around and strays wandering about. The pediment has ‘1896 Laboratories’ written on it.
“We used to manufacture vaccines here until a few years ago. Now, this is a RT-PCR testing centre for COVID-19 which is functioning from the new block,” says a health official at the rear of the abandoned building known as Institute of Preventive Medicine (IPM). ....

Hon’ble Minister for MA&UD Sri. K.Taraka Rama Rao, inaugurated 2BKH dignity houses at Lambadi thanda in Baghlingampally and sports complex at Adikmet here today. Speaking on the occasion Hon’ble Minister said Telangana State is the only one out of 28 states in the country is constructing 2,72,000 2BHK dignity houses for the poor with the cost of Rs.18,000 crores. In GHMC alone one Lakh 2BHK houses are being built with the cost of 9,714 Crores. In the Lambada Basthi 126 2BHK houses built with the cost Rs10.90 Crores. These houses are provided to the poor to live with dignity having all facilities like, with construction cost of Rs. 9 lakhs for each flat. Minister appealed to the beneficiaries to maintain the premises neat and clean and not to throw garbage on roads and nalas and requested not to sell or let-out to others as it is meant for the poor to li ....
