Fitzgibbons Arnold & Co., of Westlake, could be the new provider.
Mayor Jim Forthofer said during a Dec. 7 City Council meeting that he has worked with Finance Director Amy Hendricks to conduct a periodic review of other insurance brokers that could benefit the city to potentially save money.

Forthofer said that current insurance provider, Insurance Partners Agency, of Vermilion has served the city well over the last five years.
However, in an effort to be good custodians of the tax payers money, we felt it was just good practice to do a periodic review of all qualified insurance brokers to see who can continue to protect the city the most cost efficiently, he said.
