Chennai: Marumalarchi Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (MDMK) chief Vaiko on Sunday deplored and condemned the act of demolishing the memorial erected in Sri Lanka’s Jaffna University in memory of the Tamils killed in the Mullivaikkal genocide of 2009.
“I deplore and condemn the act of demolishing the memorial erected in the Jaffna University in the memory of the Tamils killed in the genocide. But the memory cannot be erased in our minds. I condemn the Indian government because they haven t reacted to this,” Vaiko said. ....
