Official: Vietnam attaches importance to youth development | Politics

Young Parliamentarians Group, has said Vietnam attaches
importance to promoting youth development.
Speaking at the virtual
Forum of Young Parliamentarians, as
part of the 142nd Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) Assembly, on May 17, Sy said last
year, the Vietnamese NA adopted the revised Youth Law stipulating rights and
interests of young people, State policies and management in the field.
Vietnam always encourages young deputies to join the NA’s
activities, he said.
Notably in 2015, the NA Standing Committee issued a Resolution
on the establishment of Young Parliamentarians’ Group, which now comprises 131
young lawmakers aged below 45, accounting for 26 percent of the total 14th NA ....

Election preparations ready for voters to go to the polls | Politics

Hanoi (VNA) – Permanent Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and
Industry Hoang Quang Phong and Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and
Industry of Fukuroi city in Japan (FCCI) Kinji Mizutani discussed ways to deal with the shortage of
labourers caused by COVID-19 pandemic in Japan during their recent talks.
As of
the late October 2020, the total number of foreign workers in Japan surpassed
1.72 million, up about 65,000, equivalent to a 4 percent increase year-on-year.
However, it was a far cry from a 13.6 percent rise in 2019, due to the fact that many foreign trainees could not go to Japan amid the COVID-19 pandemic spreading in many countries. ....
