Hamilton is under Alert Level 2 as at 11.59pm last night (Sunday 14 February), along with the rest of New Zealand excluding Auckland. Auckland is under Alert Level 3.
The alert levels will be in place until midnight Wednesday 17 February and reviewed every 24 hours.

If you are still on holiday at any Coromandel hotspots or to Waikato's West Coast beaches Waikato DHB holiday arrangements for Covid-19 tests are still in place.
Waikato DHB, in partnership with local healthcare providers, has in place a comprehensive testing plan to keep communities and visitors safe while on holiday.

Keeping The Waikato COVID-19 Free This Summer

If you're heading to any Coromandel hotspots or to our
West Coast beaches this summer and need a COVID-19 test,
we've got you covered.
Waikato DHB, in partnership
with local health care providers, is rolling out a
comprehensive testing plan to keep our communities and many
visitors safe while they're enjoying everything the region
has to offer.
Te Korowai Hauora o Hauraki and Anglesea
Clinic Accident and Urgent Medical will be setting
up testing sites in Coromandel, Whitianga, Tairua and
Whangamata.
The services will run between December 21,
2020 and January 31, 2021, excluding public holidays and
weekends.
