A 26-year-old man has been charged with the attempted murder of a baby in the Hunter Valley region last year.
On December 12 police received reports that a five-month-old girl had been taken to a local hospital suffering serious injuries. She was later transferred to John Hunter Hospital for treatment and is still receiving treatment for the injuries.
The baby was transferred to John hunter Hospital suffering critical injuries.
