CDTA announces holiday service plans

ALBANY The Capital District Transportation Authority said on Thursday that it will operate a Sunday/holiday schedule on Christmas Day, Friday, Dec. 25, and on New Year s Day Friday, Jan. 1. Regular service will resume on Saturday, Dec. 26 and Saturday, Jan. 2.
On New Year s Eve, CDTA will operate a regular schedule, but fares will be free starting at 8 p.m. and running through the end of the regular service day, typically 2 a.m.
The NX Northway Express service won t operate on the two Friday holidays but will resume the following Mondays, Dec. 28 and Jan. 4. ....
