Ayushman Bharat: National Health Authority inks pact with Telangana government May 24, 2021 Approximately 26 lakh beneficiary families will be eligible to avail services under the scheme The National Health Authority (NHA) has signed an MoU with the government of Telangana to implement Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (AB PM-JAY) in the state with immediate effect. The Ayushman Bharat scheme has been integrated with the existing State scheme ‘Aarogyasri’ and this converged scheme is being called Ayushman Bharat PM-JAY Aarogyasri. With the launch of Ayushman Bharat PM-JAY in Telangana, the scheme has been further expanded and now encompasses 33 States/UTs. With this convergence, approximately 26 lakh beneficiary families (around 1.3 crore individuals) as per SECC, 2011 data will be eligible to avail services under the scheme in the State. Pakistan s highway projects stalled due to non-release of funds ANI | Updated: Apr 05, 2021 12:50 IST Islamabad [Pakistan], April 5 (ANI): Pakistan s development projects of the National Highway Authority (NHA) have been stalled due to a lack of disbursement of funds under the Public Sector Development Programme (PSDP) for the third quarter of the current fiscal year. The NHA contractors did not get payments for the last three months because of the non-release of funds and as a result, they adopted a policy of either go-slow or abandoned the infrastructure projects, including those being executed under the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC), reported Dawn. Aap Ke Dwar Ayushman campaign was launched from February 1 this year. Bihar was the first state to activate the beneficiary verification process in the mission mode under the initiative.
