Skyway, SMC tollways go 100% cashless with Autosweep RFID in January

Skyway and other tollways in Luzon operated by San Miguel Corporation (SMC) Infrastructure in the Philippines are all set to go 100% cashless on January 11, 2021, with the completion of the shift to Autosweep RFID.
The RFID technology is a cashless payment system that uses radio-frequency identification of a digital code in the RFID sticker that bears the number of toll credits loaded that can be used for the tollway payment. The adoption of the technology has been recommended as a measure to reduce personal contact between commuters and tollway operators amid the coronavirus public health crisis. ....
