The Butte County Elections office is reviewing policies and procedures after 529 ballots were found in a ballot drop box more than a month after the November 3, 2020 election.

BUTTE COUNTY, Calif. - The Butte County Elections office is reviewing policies and procedures after 529 ballots were found in a ballot drop box more than a month after the November 3, 2020 election.
County elections manager Keaton Denlay told me today he went to retrieve the box near the Bell Memorial Union on the Chico State campus on Tuesday, December 8, and realized immediately there were ballots inside. ....
