Accused of multiple counts of rape involving minors, Larry Burkhart signs a document waiving his right to a jury trial.
OTTAWA Larry J. Burkhart, 76, Continental, appeared in Putnam
County Common Pleas Court on Monday for a final pretrial on multiple
charges related to alleged predatory sexual activity with two minors.
Burkhart
was originally indicted in February of last year and charged with three
counts of rape, a felony of the first degree; and three counts gross
sexual imposition, a felony of the third degree. The charges stemmed
from alleged sexual activity with two young girls simply identified by the State as Jane Does beginning, at the earliest, in May of ....
