Direxion Files Paperwork For 18 Sector (3X) Bull And Bear ETFs
Direxion has filed paperwork with the SEC for 18 new sector bull and bear ETFs. The funds will allow leveraged investment opportunities for Agribusiness, Commodity Related, Global Infrastructure, Gold Miners, Home Construction, Natural Gas, Regional Banks, Water and Wind Energy. Each fund’s objective is to magnify the performance of the Index 300% on a daily basis. The Funds will attempt to achieve this performance by investing at least 80% of its net assets in: futures contracts; options on securities, indices and futures contracts; equity caps, collars and floors; swap agreements; forward contracts; short positions, reverse repurchase agreements; and other financial instruments that, in combination, provide leveraged and unleveraged exposure to the Index. The Fund invests the remainder of its assets in short-term debt instruments that have terms-to-maturity of less than 397 days and exhibit high quality credit ....
