Rawalpindi: District Administration Rawalpindi Monday registered FIRs against 100 persons including the chief guest of a programme on violation of SOPs issued by Punjab government to contain spread of coronavirus. According to a district administration spokesman, Assistant Commissioner (AC) Saddar, Mehar Ghulam Abbas along with police conducted a raid at an inauguration ceremony of a shop and arrested 20 persons for violating of SOPs.
The AC said the Rawalpindi district administration launched to check implementation of coronavirus SOPs. He said the public parks were also being inspected and fines were imposed on those who breached the SOPs. ....

KARACHI: The Sindh High Court (SHC) judge, Justice Arshad Hussain, has accepted the interim bail of former in-charge Cyber Crime Cell, Karachi, Abdul Ghaffar, in a case filed by the Anti-Corruption Circle.
On the other hand, an interesting revelation was made in a case registered by Cyber Crime Cell against Aptech that the investigation officer (IO) of the case, assistant director, Shahryar, was an employee of the same IT company, which was shut down by the FIA after registering a case. When the IO was contacted and asked for a copy of the FIR, interestingly, he replied that he did not have the FIR’s copy, saying to get it from deputy director, Shahbaz. It may be mentioned that the case 9/2021 was registered on March 30 and Shahryar was deputed as the IO. ....

Rawalpindi : The district government has registered 162 shopkeepers under ‘Insaaf Sasti Mobile Shops Programme’ who will provide all kinds of vegetables and fruits at cheaper rates.
The local administration has allocated 10 points at public park near Double Road, Haidri Chowk, Committee Chowk, Dhoke Hassu, Khayaban-e-Sir Syed, Gulzar-e-Quaid, Chakri Road near Zafar Plaza, Adiala Road at Jarahi Stop, Chur Chowk Model Bazaar, and Chungi No22. The citizens could buy vegetables and fruits in cheaper prices from these designated points.
The local administration will also provide vegetables and fruits at cheaper prices in designated points in tehsil level here at Shahra-e-Kashmir Kallar Syedan, Kotli Satiyan Main Bazaar, Chowk Sarai Kalan Taxila, Sabzimandi Kahuta, Main GT Road Gujar Khan, and Lower Mall Murree. ....

LAHORE: Police have registered 1,073 cases in different areas of the city for violating Corona SOPs. According to a police spokesperson, 525 cases were registered for non-observance of mask while 548 cases were registered for violation of Corona SOPs.
City Division police registered 25 cases on mask and 101 cases on Corona SOPs violations. Cantt Division police registered 125 cases on mask and 33 on Corona SOPs violations. Model Town Division police registered 168 cases on mask and 252 cases on Corona SOPs violations.
Iqbal Town Division police registered 66 cases on mask and 69 cases Corona SOPs violations. Similarly, Civil Lines Division police registered 59 cases on mask and 46 cases on Corona SOPs violations. Sadar Division police registered 148 cases for not wearing mask and 62 on violation of Corona SOPs. ....
