LEWISTOWN Today’s Sentinel includes the 32nd version of our annual magazine, Juniata Valley.
This year’s topic is “Kids of the Juniata Valley,” the second time the magazine has focused exclusively on our valley’s younger residents who have also made an appearance in any number of previous Juniata Valley magazine issues with a variety of topics.
More than 40 young people were profiled in 35 stories, about average for the magazine. Along with contributions from our entire newsroom staff, there are stories by a trio of our best outside writers, and a handful of contributions by family members.
Most of the stories were brought to us by family members, who for different reasons felt their kids were worthy of recognition. We wholeheartedly agree. ....
