Burlington spring cleanup starts April 19

The annual Burlington Citywide Cleanup will begin April 19 and last through May 21.
Past spring cleanups in Burlington typically collected more than 200 tons of junk. The 2020 cleanup was canceled due to the pandemic.
It typically takes crews four or five days to complete the pickup for a route but items must be placed out by 7 a.m. on the set-out date for the designated route, next to, but separate from the wheeled garbage cart.
Residences on the Monday pick-up route should have their unwanted items placed out by 7 a.m. April 19. Tuesday routes are April 27; Wednesday’s are May 5; Thursday’s are May 13 and Friday’s are May 21. ....
