KUALA LUMPUR, Feb 14 New Covid-19 cases as of noon dropped by over a thousand to 2,464 from over 3,400 recorded just yesterday, the Ministry of Health (MOH) announced today.
This makes it the second only time the daily rate has stood this low since the movement control order took effect on January 13.
The MOH also recorded the highest rate of discharged patients today at 4,525, pushing the total tally of patients rid from the coronavirus to 213,814. ....

FEBRUARY 10 The Academy of Medicine of Malaysia is troubled by the introduction of the Prevention and Control of Infectious Diseases (Exemption) Order 2021, which states that Cabinet ministers returning from official overseas visits must only quarantine for 3 days instead of the mandatory 10 days for inbound travellers. The Health Minister clarified that only Cabinet ministers who travel in a ‘bubble itinerary’ will undergo 3-day quarantine. Moreover, this move is intended to open up the economy as the policy will eventually be applicable to foreign dignitaries and business travellers. ....

SINGAPORE, Jan 20 Three Malaysians were among the four new cases of locally transmitted Covid-19 infections reported in Singapore today, said the republic’s Ministry of Health (MOH).
The ministry said they are working at the same place of Case 59429, a 39-year-old male Singapore Permanent Resident at BS Industrial & Construction Supply Pte Ltd.
He was confirmed to have Covid-19 infection on January 18, it said in its full data released here. ....

KUALA LUMPUR, Jan 18 The Ministry of Health (MOH) has identified nine new Covid-19 clusters in Kuala Lumpur, Selangor, Pahang, Kelantan, Negri Sembilan, Johor and Sabah.
The new clusters are dubbed the Era Duta and Jalan Nipah construction site clusters in Kuala Lumpur, Taman Tasik Sg Chua cluster in Selangor, Genting Cafe cluster in Pahang, Pulau Lima cluster in Kelantan, Jalan TJ cluster in Negri Sembilan, Jalan Suria cluster in Johor, and the Bukit Bendera and Serga Mahar clusters in Sabah. ....
