Burlington woman arrested following Friday Shooting

Burlington, Ia- The Burlington Police Department made the arrest of a Burlington woman Friday, January 8th, in connection with an afternoon shooting.
On Friday January 8th, 2021 at approximately 1:26 pm the Burlington Police Department responded to a residence in the 1500 block of North 9th Street regarding a report of shots being fired. Upon arrival, officers learned an individual had sustained a gunshot wound. A Burlington Fire Department Ambulance crew responded to the scene and
transported the individual to Great River Medical Center in West Burlington. The injury is believed to be non-life-threatening.
Detectives from the Burlington Police Department’s Problem Oriented Policing Unit and Criminal Investigation Division responded and began investigating the shooting. During the investigation, detectives identified a suspect. ....

Police investigating Friday shooting
Burlington police are investigating a domestic-related shooting that sent one person to the hospital Friday.
BPD officers responded to a call at 1:26 p.m. for the shooting at 1515 N. Ninth St.
On arrival, officers found an individual had suffered a gunshot wound they believe to be non-life-threatening, according to a media release from Lt. Wayne Thomson, commander of the Burlington Police Department’s Criminal Investigations Division.
A Burlington Fire Department Ambulance crew took the unnamed victim to Great River Medical Center in West Burlington.
A woman is in custody.
Monica Nicole Autry, 33, of Burlington is charged with willful injury, a class C felony; assault causing serious injury, a class D felony; and domestic abuse assault causing injury, an aggravated misdemeanor. ....
