Virus household transmission really hurting community

GP says household transmissions relate to the Christmas period
The Medical Director for Westdoc, an out-of-hours GP service covering Galway, Mayo, and Roscommon, has said household transmission of Covid-19 is really hurting the community.
Dr David McNeill said this is related to the Christmas period when people went home to visit parents and grandparents.
Speaking on RTÉ s Morning Ireland, he said  we re seeing a lot sicker patients presenting to us unlike the previous waves.
He is also seeing patients who are quite sick by the time they call and who need hospitalisation, he added. ....
