Frontier Regional track design estimate $200K over budget

SOUTH DEERFIELD The Frontier Regional School Committee is $200,000 over budget when it comes to resurfacing its track and will have to come up with funding sources to make up the difference.
The committee voted last week to appropriate $100,000 in excess and deficiency funds to cover half the amount, though another $100,000 remains.
“We have saved up School Choice money and will likely be using that to pay for the difference,” explained Shelley Poreda, the business administrator for the Frontier and Union 38 regional school districts.
