Next Facilities Master Plan assessment set to begin in Fairfield-Suisun district
FAIRFIELD Officials in Fairfield and Suisun City will soon start an evaluation of each campus in the Fairfield-Suisun School District with an eye toward prioritizing future projects.
Members of the school district staff will evaluate how current educational needs and programs are being met by the facilities at every school and will assess the condition of the buildings, infrastructure, and safety and security, the district reports in a press release. ....

Press Release: FSUSD Prioritizes Project List in Facilities Master Plan
District Wide Facilities Priorities Evaluated
Fairfield, CA – January 21, 2021 – Fairfield-Suisun Unified School District (FSUSD) has once again started the process of evaluating facilities needs and priorities at every site in the District. The first comprehensive, year-long process to create a Facilities Master Plan was undertaken in 2016 and involved over 350 participants with stakeholders from the District, community, local agencies, and businesses. Led by the architectural firm, LPA, Inc., the plan identified $1.3 Billion in facilities needs and formed the basis in developing a prioritized list of projects to be completed once funding became available. Since that time, the list of projects has been revised and updated to reflect current requirements and projects that have been completed with Measure J and other facility funds.
