CROW AGENCY - Crow Tribe Chairman Frank White Clay declared a state of emergency Tuesday and issued a Stay Home Order due to COVID-19.
A declaration of a State of Emergency resulting from the imminent threat of a disaster causing immediate peril to life and property that timely action can avert or minimize, in order to protect the health, safety and welfare of Crow Tribal members and other residents, the chairman said in a statement posted on Facebook. As the Crow Tribal Executive Branch Chairman, it is my duty to protect the Tribe and its members. The Tribe is facing increasing number of COVID-19 cases. Therefore, I declare the Crow Tribe to be in a State of Emergency due to the COVID -19 Novel Coronavirus Pandemic. ....
