ISLAMABAD: While affirming commitment to Pakistan, Chinese Foreign Minister and State Counselor Wang Yi has said China will always stand firmly with Pakistan no matter how the world changes.
Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi, through a video link, was addressing a conference titled “Pakistan-China At 70: A Unique Bilateral Partnership” arranged by the Pakistan-China Institute (PCI) in commemoration of 70 years of Pakistan-China relations. Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi has also addressed the conference.
The conference brought together China and Pakistan’s key government officials, academicians, journalists, students and civil society members under one roof. The conference featured 24 esteemed panelists from Pakistan and China, who talked with one voice about the importance of upholding Pakistan-China all-weather strategic partnership.

IPDS, Pakistan Research Center, China sign MoU

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Institute of Peace and Diplomatic Studies (IPDS) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Pakistan Research Center, Inner Mongolia Honder College of Arts and Sciences, under the Ministry of National Education, the People’s Republic of China.
The MoU is aimed at the promotion of research, academic exchange in order to improve and promote collaboration between the academic social sciences faculties between Pakistan and China.
The aim is also to strengthen the “Friends of Belt and Road Initiative Forum” across Asia, Europe, and Africa through education and research exchange.

PU Dean Faculty of Arts and Humanities Prof Dr Amra Raza, Dr Guangmin Xiu, Deputy Director of the Pakistan Studies Center, Office of Teaching and Research Director Hong Shu, Dr Amjad Abbas Magsi, faculty members and 10 students from the School of International Relations and the School of History and Culture were invited to have online exchanges with 8 teachers and students from the Pakistan Study Center of Punjab University. Dr Magsi moderated the proceedings of the seminar.
