Published May 10, 2021, 12:20 PM The Pasay City Police assured on Monday, May 10, that all violators of the mandatory wearing of face masks will be treated “humanely” and “their rights will be strictly respected.” In a statement, Pasay City Police Chief Col. Cesar Paday-os said that the local police, in coordination with the Pasay City government, will sustain its enforcement of the ordinance on the mandatory wearing of face masks in the barangays. “Violators will be courteously invited to barangay halls or Police Community Precincts and shall be given a chance to explain and be provided with health kits,” he said. This is in line with the instruction of newly-installed Philippine National Police (PNP) Chief Gen. Guillermo Eleazar to intensify the enforcement of health protocols, particularly on the wearing of face masks and face shields. ....
