The Rockingham County Board of Education passed a resolution Monday night that would push public school employees up on the priority list to receive a COVID-19 vaccine.On Monday night, board members approved a resolution called Shots for a Safe Return.The measure calls on Gov. Roy Cooper to make teachers and staff eligible for the coronavirus vaccine in Phase 2.Currently educators are included in Phase 3.Any teacher older the 65 is already eligible for a vaccine.The school district said it is ready to coordinate with state and local health officials to plan vaccination clinics, and it is sending the resolution to the governor s office.You can watch the meeting in its entirety here. ....
