Diabetes and hypertension remain the most prevalent and concerning non-communicable diseases in Barbados in recent years. 
From September 21, 2020, the Barbados Diabetic Association shifted its mission to focus and address these NCDs that have plagued the population of Barbados. 
Rebranded as The Diabetes and Hypertension Association of Barbados (DHAB), the organization expanded its mission and repositioned itself to address the health needs of citizens. 
In an issued statement, the rebranded entity stated they wished to push support, education, advocacy and screening as they sought to turn the tide and achieve equitable health for all . 
As part of its rebranding as a shared and new entity, DHAB has launched a new logo that embodies its objective and confidence in achieving those goals. The image shows an orange outline of Barbados with a blue heart rate across.  ....
