Non-profits in B.C. are set to receive funding from B.C.’s Community Gaming Grants.
The $11 million grant is going to organizations to help boost conservation and public safety programs that will benefit British Columbians around the province. The province is providing about $4.8 million to 138 environmental organizations in 2020-21. Here in the North Prince George Recycling and Environmental Action Planning Society will be receiving $26,000.
In 2020-21, 132 not-for-profit organizations that provide emergency and lifesaving services are receiving approximately $6.3 million to deliver their programs province wide. Organizations receiving this funding include, B.C. Search Dog Association, Fraser Region Community Justice Initiatives Association, Kaslo Search and Rescue and Horsefly Volunteer Fire Department. ....
