BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KERO) â The jury in Beant Dhillon s murder trial reached a verdict Wednesday afternoon finding her guilty on all charges.
The jury found Dhillon guilty of first-degree murder as well as two assault charges, one connected to the murder of her infant grandson. The other is for failing to get her teenage daughter medical treatment at the time.
Dhillon is looking at a life sentence for charges related to the 2018 murder of her infant grandson. She s expected back in court on January 21st 2021 for sentencing. ....

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KERO) â Beant Dhillon, who is accused of drowning her infant grandson two years ago, is now waiting to find out if a jury will convict her.
The closing arguments concluded Tuesday afternoon after nearly a month of testimony. Dhillon is facing charges of first-degree murder and two assault charges: one in connection with the babyâs death and the other for failing to get her daughter medical care.
Dhillon is accused of drowning her own grandson that evening, just hours after he was born on Nov. 12, 2018. Her daughter testified that she hid her pregnancy from her parents and gave birth alone in a bathtub in the family s home. During the trial, Dhillon s daughter testified that she does not know what happened that night after she gave birth and did not find out about the infant s death until months later. ....
