São Paulo subway workers suspend strike, accept Labor Court proposal

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - The São Paulo subway workers, on strike since midnight yesterday, May 19, decided in a meeting at the end of the night to accept the 2nd Regional Labor Court (TRT) conciliation proposal, and reject the Metropolitan Company s (Metro) proposal, thus suspending the strike.
