RWMC, RCB lauded for removing 13,845 tons entrails of sacrificial animals

Rawalpindi : The residents of Rawalpindi city and Cantonment areas have appreciated the performance of Rawalpindi Waste Management Company (RWMC) and Rawalpindi Cantonment Board (RCB) as both the departments successfully completed the Eidul Azha cleanliness operations and removed nearly 13,845 tons entrails of sacrificial animals during three days.
This year, excellent arrangements were witnessed in Rawalpindi city and cantonment areas to remove entrails of sacrificial animals and the efforts of the departments concerned have been hailed largely by the citizens.
According to details, Rawalpindi Waste Management Company (RWMC) and Rawalpindi Cantonment Board (RCB) did a good job on the eve of Eidul Azha as the operations in their respective areas were completed on Friday evening. ....

Rawalpindi : The Station Commander and President of Rawalpindi and Chaklala Cantonment Boards , Brigadier Ijaz Qamar Kiani Thursday inaugurated the functioning of Revival of Food Street at Saddar. The Cantonment Executive Officer, RCB, Muhhammad Omar Farooq Ali Malik, Additional Cantonment Executive Officer Maria Jabeen, Secretary, RCB, Qaisar Mahmood also graced the occasion along with other higher officials.
As told by Secretary, Qaisar Mahmood while talking to mediamen, The Food Street was first opened in the year 2015 with the efforts of the then CEO, RCB, Fahim Zafar Khan which later on was closed due to some reasons particularly after the eruption of COVID-19 as it was causing loss to RCB. However, the new management of RCB headed by CEO, Omar Farooq as well as Additional CEO, Maria Jabeen who for the convenience made efforts to revive Food Street under Shinning Saddar Project. ....

Rawalpindi: The Enforcement Cell of Rawalpindi Cantonment Board (RCB) launching its anti-encroachment drive conducted operation in Peshawar Road markets and bazars on Thursday.
The plan to initiate operation against encroachers and cartpushers was taken on the directions of Station Commander and president of the Cantonment Boards, Rawalpindi and Chakala, Brig Ijaz Qamar Kiani who the other day paid surprise visits to Peshawar Road and other wards, expressing concern over the presence of hub of encroachment and pushcarts in bazars and markets.
The Enforcement Cell headed by Mohammad Murtsem evolved a strategy to launch grand operation against encroachments and removal of pushcarts from markets and bazars falling in RCB limits. ....
