A shooting that took place Monday streets may be related to another shooting that left one man suffering life-threatening injuries.
Police began receiving reports at 12:23 p.m. Monday that shots had been fired somewhere near the 2400 block of Flint Hills Drive, where a shooting had occurred the day before.
The shots were heard by many in Burlington, however, and numerous reports from multiple locations made it difficult to pinpoint the exact location of where the shooting occurred.
Officers responding to the vicinity identified a vehicle believed to be involved in the shooting in the area of Division and Leebrick streets. After a brief pursuit, the vehicle was pulled over. The driver and passengers of the vehicle were detained and taken to the Burlington Police Department for interviews. ....

A Burlington man is in custody following a Sunday shooting in the area of Flint Hills Drive that sent one person to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Larry Keith ER Knotts III, 33, 937 N. Eighth St., was arrested on several felony charges at 7:59 p.m. Sunday at the Burlington Police Department hours after a man was shot multiple times in the 2400 block of Flint Hills Drive.
The arrest came after the victim and eyewitnesses as well as the GPS-equipped ankle monitor Knotts was wearing as a parole requirement tied him to the scene at the time the shooting took place. ....
