Muscat: An expat has been arrested by Royal Oman Police (ROP), with more than 6,000 boxes of cigarettes and over 9,000 packs of prohibited tobacco products.
A statement issued online by ROP said : Al-Dakhiliya Governorate Police Command arrests an expatriate on charges of possessing cigarettes and tobacco derivatives. Seized from his possession were more than 6,130 boxes of cigarettes and 9,714 packs of prohibited tobacco derivatives . Legal measures are being taken against him. ....
