New Additions To Hansford County Library
Hansford County Library is pleased to continue adding items to the shelves to better serve the community.
With a grant received in the fall from the Ladd & Katherine Hancher Library Foundation of Columbus, TX, the staff has recently added 84 large print books and 47 audiobooks to the collection. To be current, other items that have not yet been released are on order and will arrive in the spring. The intent is to add 100 large print and 100 audiobooks with these funds.
“When we applied for the grant, our purpose was to aid the aging reader as well as the long-distance traveler,” said director, Margaret Ruttman. “Now, we see this will help those homebound due to COVID-19 concerns or other reasons,” she added. ....
