Square Enix held on February 2 a new live stream for
NieR Re[in]carnation which also included some new tidbits on
NieR Replicant Ver 1.22 : the game will include a new Weapon Story system. A familiar system for
NieR Automata fans.

NieR Replicant will include a new Weapon Story system. If you’re unfamiliar with it, here’s how Weapon Story or Weapon Stories work. As you gathered weapons, those weapons could be leveled up by using them in combat. Doing so would progressively unlock special stories focusing on the weapons. This is the Weapon Story system. ....
