Housing and Local Government Minister Datuk Zuraida Kamaruddin (
pic) said the build-up area of the Rumah Malaysia units would also be standardised nationwide.
She said the new unit would have a 900 sq ft floor plan from the existing PPR units which ranged from 650 sq ft to 750 sq ft.
We are in the midst of reviewing the monthly rental for the Rumah Malaysia unit taking into account the bigger floor space, said Zuraidah.
She said this in a press conference after the virtual handing over of house keys to residents of Taman Seri Molek Perdana, Plentong and PPR Taman Perling Johor Baru at a hotel here. ....
