New firms ratified under Egat, MEA

The State Enterprise Policy Commission approved in principle establishing two subsidiary firms under the state-run Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand (Egat) and Metropolitan Electricity Authority (MEA) to invest in future energy and energy-related R&D and innovations.
According to Pantip Sripimol, director-general of the State Enterprise Policy Office (Sepo), Egat will form a joint venture with Electricity Generating Plc (Egco), an Egat subsidiary, and Ratch Group Plc to set up a new firm.
The name has not been determined, and the new firm has registered capital of 2 billion baht that is 40% held by Egat, with 30% each held by Egco and Ratch Group. ....
