Burundi President Evariste Ndayishimiye is hosting his Ethiopian counterpart Sahle-Work Zewde, who arrived in Bujumbura on Tuesday for a two-day visit.
President Zewde arrived at Melchior Ndadaye International Airport and was received by Ndayishimiye together with other senior government officials, including the Burundian Foreign Affairs Minister Albert Shingiro.
In a joint-press briefing, President Sahle-Work Zewde said she was honored to visit Burundi as the Ethiopian Head of State.
According to a statement released by the Presidency, the visit by President Zewde will offer the two Heads of State an opportunity to explore and strengthen bilateral relations. ....
