A Queensland woman who lied about visiting Melbourne while it was a coronavirus hotspot, tested positive and triggered a Brisbane lockdown has been sentenced to 40 hours of community service.
Olivia Muranga, 20, requested her case for allegedly breaching border declarations be heard separately from that of her two co-accused.

Ms Muranga pleaded guilty to failing to comply with a health direction after not declaring she had been in a COVID-19 hotspot when applying for a G-type border pass upon entering Brisbane Airport from Victoria on July 21 last year. ....
