A popular Billings pet daycare facility is drawing attention today (3/31) after a video was shared on Facebook by someone who states they are a former employee of Big Sky Pet Resort. The video shows a person abusing dogs in three different situations. In one clip, the person appears to hit a dog repeatedly with an openhand. In another, a dog is dragged by its collar, and in the third clip, it appears a dog is kicked while being led into a gate. ....

BILLINGS - A recent Facebook post showing a recording of alleged animal abuse is causing big problems for a Billings based pet boarding facility.
In three separate videos, allegedly recorded at Big Sky Pet Resort, a man is seen hitting a dog, dragging a dog by its scruff and even kicking a dog.
Isabell Quintana, a former employee, says they were trained to pull a dog out of the main room and take them to a separate area if they saw any signs of aggressiveness.
“We have these leashes and we’d put the leashes on them, and we’d make sure the other dogs stay away, and we’d bring them out. There’s also water bottles, you know, spray them with water bottles. You’re told to spray them with water bottles if they do anything like that, Quintana said. ....

BILLINGS - The owner of a Billings pet daycare facility says he’s devastated to see several videos of potential animal abuse at his business circulate on social media.
The videos, posted by Isabell Quin, show an employee at Big Sky Pet Resort harshly handling dogs at the facility.
Billings Police Department spokesman Lt. Brandon Wooley confirmed Thursday there is an investigation underway into the matter.
“There is an active, ongoing investigation by our Animal Control Division. I don’t have any other details to release,” Wooley said in an email. ....
