(Representative image) DUMKA: The district unit of BJP will launch a five-day-long Satyagraha from July 30 against illegal mining and transportation of minerals and ‘the deteriorating law and order situation in Santhal-Pargana’, party leader Lois Marandi said on Tuesday. Speaking to reporters here, Lois said that the BJP cadres from across the district would observe the dharna at Phulo Jhano Chowk along Ring road. “Senior BJP leaders, including former chief minister Babulal Marandi, and others from the state leadership will also take part.” Referring to the ultimatum issued by the party to the district administration to take to task the illegal miners, Lois said, “The administration did not pay heed to their 10-day ultimatum given to them to curb the situation and now we are forced to hit the streets.” ....
