PAM to sign Oman mining strategy contract today

MUSCAT: The Public Authority for Mining (PAM) will sign today a contract with SRK Consulting and its supportive companies; Mayer Brown and Wood Mackenzie to implement Oman mining strategy.
The general strategy for the mining sector is one of the major projects undertaken by the Authority as per its
mandates shown at its System issued by the Royal Decree No 49/2014.
As per this system, one of the mandates of the Authority is to develop a strategy that includes the plans and policies related to the geologic infrastructure of the Sultanate and developing the mining system ....
