Snow and tell: Springfield plowing map will offer a glimpse of which roads are clear and which aren’t

SPRINGFIELD As the first major winter storm of the season dropped about a foot of snow Thursday, city councilors and a few other officials got a look at the city’s online command center map showing which streets were plowed and which were not.
It was a step toward making the map and its information available to the public for the next storm.
“It’s good. I’m looking at it now,” Councilor-at-Large Jesse Lederman said as the last few flakes floated down Thursday morning. ....
