Okotie: Nigeria on threshold of major crisis -- but it's a precursor to rebirth

In a statement, Okotie, however, said the forces holding Nigeria hostage will be defeated, after which the nation would experience a rebirth.
The cleric’s statement is in reaction to an earlier sermon by one Bosun Emmanuel, said to be a representative of the Nigeria Christian Elders Forum (NCEF).
An audio sermon which was released in July 2014, wherein Emmanuel claimed that Nigeria will be faced with security challenges, made the rounds on social media recently.

However, Okotie dismissed the claim, stating that Emmanuel’s comments were taken from a position of “ignorance”.
“The message from Bosun Emmanuel is arrant heterodoxy deriving from abysmal ignorance of sound biblical interpretation of visions and revelations,” Okotie said. ....
