Unemployed innovator from Telangana invents Electric Nebulizer Mask amid COVID-19 crisis

May 15, 2021, 16:25 PM IST Hyderabad: At a time when everything from medicines to oxygen concentrators are being imported to save a huge number of COVID-19 patients in the country, an unemployed graduate from Telangana has come up with an interesting mask. Presently called as ‘Electric Nebulizer Mask’.  This unique mask has some interesting features and can be worn while on the move as well. 24-year-old K.Shiva Nagaraju is from Deshmukhi village in Yadadri district of Telangana, nearly 80 kilometres from capital Hyderabad. “The regular masks, although very useful, have some problems too. Like if you wear it for a longer period then there will be some discomfort in breathing. Then there is sweating issue and so on. But in our ‘Electric Nebulizer Mask’ we have an IV pipe and filters which stop dust particles and inhaling, and exhaling is bit comfortable, explained Shiva.

S. Suman of Lakshmi Bazaar in Gorkha district in Nepal along with a few others were brought to the country by a middleman for job in Kerala in 2019. However, he got separated from his team members while travelling in the train and landed in the State. In February, 2020, he arrived at the Erode Railway Junction, with severe injuries and was admitted to the District Headquarters Hospital. He was mentally ill and interaction by psychiatrists revealed that he was assaulted by the public at various places after which he boarded the train to Erode.
