the facility managers in charge of selected Primary Health Centres have been urged to desist from hoarding the COVID-19 Personal Protective Equipment.
The Clinic Officer of the Gombe State Planned Parenthood Federation of Nigeria, Bathsheba Kala, said the PPEs must be used for the good of all and not to be kept.
She spoke at the distribution of COVID-19 preventive equipment in Akko and Gombe Local Government Areas of the state. The items were provided with the support of the United Nations Population Fund to 32 Primary Health Centres in the two LGAs.
“We selected 32 clinics; 16 each in Akko and Gombe LGAs respectively. Those are the clinics that have benefitted from the distribution. Personal Protective Equipment is very important at this crucial time, now that the second wave of coronavirus is raging. ....
