The Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi (DCT Abu Dhabi) has announced a partnership with social networking giant TikTok to showcase Abu Dhabi in a new and unique way.

A newly launched channel - Visit Abu Dhabi - aims to engage content creators to showcase the best of the emirate with creativity and authenticity, reaching wider audiences worldwide and inspiring viewers to consider Abu Dhabi as part of their future travel plans.

Travel, Tourism & Hospitality Japan to open tourism promotion office in Dubai

Japan National Tourism Organisation (JNTO) has announced plans to set up an office in Dubai this year, as part of its strategic efforts to achieve the government’s goal of welcoming 60 million international visitors by 2030.

It is JNTO’s first office to open in the Middle East, and will be a focal point for the organisation’s promotional efforts in showcasing Japan as a preferred travel destination for residents in the region.

As part of its promotional efforts for 2021, JNTO will exhibit at Arabian Travel Market Hybrid (ATM 2021).

The Middle East’s largest tourism exhibition, ATM will take place in Dubai from May 16 to 19, and then on a virtual platform from May 24 to 26. ....

LAHORE:Punjab Chief Minister s Adviser on Information Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan has visited Child Protection and Welfare Bureau and broke her fast with the children residing in the bureau.
Talking to the media, Dr Awan said that the first priority of the Punjab government is to promote such institutions and expand their scope. She said the government wants to enact more laws against physical abuse and violence against children, especially violence against domestic workers and wants to set a precedent for those who take innocent children by force and force them to beg. UK private equity firm Bowmark Capital has named Antonia Cheong and Tom Elliott as partners amid of a clutch of senior promotions.
Cheong joined Bowmark in 2014 and is co-leader of the healthcare team. Bowmark said she played a key role in the development of the firm’s business services practice and has been involved in investments in Lawyers on Demand, Pirum and Node4.
During the five years holding period, Node4 doubled its sales and profits, and maintained strong organic growth through “significant” new customer wins and offering enhanced solutions, the firm said.
Elliot is a member of Bowmark’s technology team and leads the financial services practice. He has covered the Aston Lark and Nexus deals during his seven years with the firm and has recently worked on the acquisition of IWSR, which provides business data and intelligence to the global drinks industry. ....
