PROVIDENCE â Kyle Burgos held his head up high as he walked through the hallways of Hasbro Childrenâs hospital on Saturday, needing no direction to the hematology and oncology wing he knew so well. He checked in, reporting no COVID-19 symptoms, and walked straight into the exam room. For only a second did he glance over to see his mom there, like always, right beside him.

Coles, Robinson-O’Hagan rule 25-pound event at season-opening meet
PROVIDENCE – While Woonsocket High senior Logan Coles and junior Tarik Robinson-O’Hagan waited for the indoor track and field season to finally get underway, they kept close tabs on the country’s top high school throwers on www.hshammer.com and where those athletes stood in the national rankings for the 25-pound weight.
“They kept seeing these kids competing all over the place while they were unable to (compete),” said Woonsocket head coach Marc Piette. “There were two kids already over 70 (feet), and they kept saying to themselves, ‘Just wait until we get started.’”
