NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — The Metro Health Department is looking into why staff members of a child care facility have already received the COVID-19 vaccine.
Dr. Gill Wright, interim chief at Metro Health, said 60 staff members with Primrose Academy were vaccinated despite being in the Phase 1-b category.
It turns out the teachers received an email from the department telling them to schedule the appointments. Dr. Wright said the child care company was on a list of health care providers Metro received from the Tennesse Department of Health. ....
